How can I use my gmail account to talk on MSN?

1. Go to http://my.msn.com


2. On the right side click "Sign up"


3. On the next page keep the first choice "Yes, use my e-mail address" active and click "Continue"


4. Enter an e-mail address and password to use for your Windows Live ID. Choose a question and secret answer to help you reset your password if you forget it.


5. Click "Continue"





The last step is to activate your mail


6. Sign in to your Gmail account


7. Open the message sent to you by Microsoft


8. Click the activation link.

Now you have a Windows Live ID you can use to sign in to MSN Messenger.
