Can a MSN messenger account contact AOL, GMAIL, Yahoo accounts for Instant Messaging?

I have an MSN messenger account and I was wondering if I would be able to contact my friends who all have different accounts.... is that possible? And if so do I give them my email?

I know that you can add and contact Yahoo accounts but I am not too sure about AOL and GMAIL. I think they would work as well....theres really not much difference in them. Hope I helped xx
Reply:Not sure about Aol and Gmail but you can instant message in from msn to yahoo . and i think u should try adding someone from gmail or aol then u will be sure.
Reply:Only when your friends on AOL, GMAIL register their accounts a Windows Live Account, then they may contact with you by using Windows live messenger =))

Reply:Well, I'm not sure about AOL or GMAIL, but I know for a fact that you can add and contact Yahoo accounts =)
