After creating a gmail account, i can not access my yahoo mail account. How do I rectify this problem?

I use Yahoo Beta and I have been having the problem of a blank screen and page not loading. tried everything i.e. cleared cache, history, turned off firewall and anti-virus etc. to no avail. I then went to an internet cafe to try logging in there, and I was able to log in right away. I immediatly switched back to the old version of Yahoo Mail. Went back home and successfully logged into my email account. With the old version currently working for me it's bye bye Beta for now. Hope this helps.

If you set your gmail to be the default that may be the problem, otherwise the 2 do not work off the same server or even services so they should not conflict with each other. What you may be experiencing is the new yahoo mail beta, and its needed adjustments to your general security settings in order to work. Its not a big thing but annoying to say the least. What you need to do is forst delete your history, temp files, and cookies...then adjust the security level to custom, scroll to scripting and enable both the applets and active scripting, then go to the privacy settings and change that to medium or medium low.
Reply:I did this a long time ago because the gmail account seemed pretty neat. We ended up calling our network provider for assistance and ended up having to remove it.
Reply:As you said, you can not access you yahoo mail, there is no connection of gmail with that. May be you forgot you id or password or confused with your gmail id, password.
