Reactivation of a deleted gmail account?

i want to reactivate my deleted google mail account, i deleted it on 16th of November/08, the problem is that i deactivated my facebook account as well, and when i want to reactivate it , they send me the confirmation email to my deleted gmail account. i tried contacting the gmail help center but they didnt send any reply.

Gmail usernames are not recycled. If you already used a prefix (the part before the @), you will not be able to create a new account with that name. Moreover, you will not be able to use the "dot variants" of that username either -- e.g. myname and my.name.

I don't know if you can re-activate an account. However if it has truly been removed you might be able to create a new gmail account using the same address.
