what type of email is gmail ?
and the email that i have is not @gmail.com is different but is powered by gmail this change something?
I dont understand how to configure my e mail account with gmail in the outlook 2003?
Go to gmail and set up a gmail account - it's the best of them all. Then go into gmail and set it and all of your other accounts to feed into your Outlook 2003. I can't remember exactly how I did it, but it was incredibly easy to do (took about 5 minutes in total) and intuitive - gmail did all of the work. I now use Outlook 2003 exclusively with 2 gmail accounts and 3 others and never need to login to anything but Outlook.
