Getting a gmail account though outlook to PUSH the mail like exchanger server does.?

i dont want to have to run send a recive i want the Push function or whatever its called where it just appears in the inbox when it arrives. how do i do this? can i do this without an exchange server?

Yes, you can download your mails into outlook and you can send/receive mails there but first you have to allow pop3 and mailforwarding in your gmail account under settings option and mailforwarding (tab)
