What if they send you a failure notice saying that they were unable to deliver your message to the address?
Like they send you that message right after you sent the message to the gmail account.
So you can't use a yahoo account to send things to gmail accounts?

Reply:You must have mis-typed the address, or perhaps you were given the wrong address. I do it all the time, so I know it works. Have the person you are trying to email send you and email first. That way you will know you have the right address.
Reply:I receive tons of email from my friends that are (still) using Yahoo mail, and my Gmail account has no problem receiving/sending it. You may want to check the spelling of the destination gmail address.
