How can I get a free gmail account?

regarding that my country is not available on the list so i can use my mobile %26amp; get an ID on gmail...but I heared that if someone who already has gmail then he/she can invite me so i can get a free gmail ID

Reply:When I joined a year or so ago, you had to get someone who has an account to use one of their allotment of invites to invite you to join.
